The LDS-50C Series LiDAR Sensor is a high-performance 2D scanning LiDAR designed for long-range, reliable environmental perception in demanding industrial and robotic applications. Featuring a self-developed 360-degree scanning mechanism and advanced optical design, the LDS-50C Series provides accurate distance and intensity data while maintaining a compact and lightweight form factor.
Equipped with a 905 nm near-infrared laser, the LDS-50C Series supports detection distances of up to 40 meters (90% reflectivity), making it well-suited for large-area sensing, obstacle detection, and navigation tasks. Two models are available to meet different system requirements: LDS-50C-R with UART communication and LDS-50C-E with Ethernet interface, offering flexibility for various integration scenarios.
The sensor features a step window optical design, significantly improving resistance to dust and contamination, reducing maintenance needs, and ensuring long-term stable operation. With strong ambient light resistance exceeding 80,000 lux, the LDS-50C Series delivers reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Powered by a built-in DC brushless motor, the LDS-50C Series supports scan frequencies of 10 Hz and 15 Hz, with high angular resolution down to 0.12° at 10 Hz (Ethernet version). Its robust construction, IP5X/IP54 protection rating, and wide operating voltage range make it suitable for industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, mobile robots, AGVs, and smart logistics systems.
Combining long-range detection, compact design, and cost-effective operation, the LDS-50C Series is an ideal solution for applications requiring reliable 2D LiDAR sensing with minimal maintenance.
