The LDS-E200-R is a compact and cost-effective 2D LiDAR sensor designed for entry-level robotic and automation applications that require reliable environmental perception. Combining ultra-compact dimensions with full 360° scanning capability, the LDS-E200-R enables seamless integration into mobile robots, service robots, and intelligent navigation systems.
Equipped with a 905 nm near-infrared laser and an 18 kHz sampling rate, the LDS-E200-R delivers high-fidelity distance and intensity data for accurate mapping, obstacle detection, and localization. With selectable scan frequencies of 10 Hz or 15 Hz (default 10 Hz), the sensor provides flexible performance optimization for different motion speeds and system requirements.
The LDS-E200-R supports a maximum detection range of up to 20 meters (90% reflectivity) and maintains stable performance even in strong ambient light conditions, offering optical interference resistance above 80,000 lux. Its precise angular resolution of 0.2° at 10 Hz ensures detailed environmental sensing, while a built-in DC brushless motor guarantees smooth rotation and long-term operational stability.
Designed with reliability and affordability in mind, the LDS-E200-R features UART 3.3V communication, low power consumption (≤ 2.5 W), and lightweight construction (< 60 g), making it an ideal choice for entry-level systems that demand dependable performance without excessive cost. Optional I/O configurations further enhance its versatility across a wide range of applications.
