MVI2SY is a cost‑effective laser photoelectric switch module of the MOEVISION Industry 2 series. It adopts D‑TOF (Direct Time‑of‑Flight) ranging technology, equipped with a 940 nm invisible infrared VCSEL laser source. Combined with proprietary optical systems, high‑precision signal‑processing circuits and compact mechanical design, it achieves high‑speed non‑contact distance measurement and switch output within 0.1 ~ 10 meters, suitable for indoor and outdoor environments.

The module integrates built‑in temperature compensation, ambient‑light suppression and non‑linear correction algorithms to deliver stable and accurate distance readings under varying temperature and illumination conditions. Its laser source complies with IEC 60825‑1 Class 1 laser safety standard.

MVI2SY features an RS‑485 half‑duplex communication interface supporting standard Modbus RTU protocol. It can be directly connected to PLCs, HMIs and industrial gateways for plug‑and‑play industrial‑bus integration. Isolated optocoupler switch output is also provided to control external devices directly via distance thresholds.
